What is measured?

One tool: PostHog, a product-analytics service. It is loaded on the public pages of this site. It records:

• Page views and page exits — which page, when.
• Clicks on the WhatsApp buttons, and which offer the button was for.
• Clicks on the booking link, submissions of the free-guide form, and use of the English/Spanish switch.
• How far down a page people scroll, taps that hit nothing, and JavaScript errors. The last one is the only error monitoring this site has.
• Technical details your browser sends with any request: page address, referring site, browser, operating system, screen size, and your IP address — which is turned into an approximate city and country and is not shown to me as an address.

General click-tracking is switched off on purpose. Only the events listed above are collected, and session recording is off.

What is stored on my device?

That depends on the banner, and there are two states.

• Before you choose, and if you decline: nothing. Analytics runs in memory only. Visits are counted, but nothing survives the tab closing, so return visits cannot be recognised.
• If you accept: a cookie and a small entry in your browser's local storage, which is what lets a repeat visit be recognised as the same anonymous visitor. Your choice itself is remembered so the banner does not come back.

Nothing here identifies you by name. I do not create accounts, and no login exists on the public site.

How do I withdraw or opt out?

Choose Decline on the banner, and analytics stays in memory-only mode. If you already accepted, clear cookies and site data for madebywacho.com in your browser settings; that deletes the stored identifier and the banner will ask again. Blocking the script — with any content blocker, or with JavaScript off — also works, and the site is built to work identically without it.

Who else gets my data?

• PostHog stores the analytics events, on servers in the United States.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and sees the requests it serves.
• Google Fonts serves the two typefaces, so Google's font servers see the request.
• Tally runs the free-guide form and the free website audit form. If you fill one in, Tally stores what you typed: an email address, and for the audit your name and website address. Those two forms are the only places this site asks for a personal detail.
• The checkout for the paid SEO audit is a hosted payment page run by the payment provider (Gumroad or PayPal). Your card details go to them, never to this site.
• WhatsApp and cal.com receive whatever you send them, but only once you click through and start a conversation.

Nothing is sold, and there is no advertising network on this site.

How do I ask about my data?

Message me on WhatsApp and say so. I will tell you what exists and delete it. Made by Wacho is a one-person studio in Quito, Ecuador.

Este sitio cuenta visitas para saber qué páginas vale la pena escribir. No tiene publicidad, no vende datos a nadie y no graba tu pantalla. Hasta que aceptes el aviso de cookies, no se guarda nada tuyo en tu dispositivo.

¿Qué se mide?

Una sola herramienta: PostHog, un servicio de analítica de producto. Registra:

• Vistas y salidas de página: cuál y cuándo.
• Clics en los botones de WhatsApp, y a qué oferta correspondía el botón.
• Clics en el enlace de agenda, envíos del formulario de la guía gratis y uso del cambio de idioma.
• Hasta dónde se baja en la página, toques que no hacen nada y errores de JavaScript. Lo último es el único monitoreo de errores que tiene este sitio.
• Datos técnicos que tu navegador envía en cualquier petición: dirección de la página, sitio de origen, navegador, sistema operativo, tamaño de pantalla y tu dirección IP, que se convierte en una ciudad y un país aproximados y no se me muestra como dirección.

El rastreo general de clics está apagado a propósito. Solo se recoge lo de la lista, y la grabación de sesión está apagada.

¿Qué se guarda en mi dispositivo?

• Antes de elegir, y si rechazas: nada. La analítica corre solo en memoria. Se cuenta la visita, pero no sobrevive al cierre de la pestaña.
• Si aceptas: una cookie y una entrada pequeña en el almacenamiento local, que es lo que permite reconocer una visita repetida como el mismo visitante anónimo. Tu elección se recuerda para que el aviso no vuelva.

Nada de esto te identifica por nombre. No hay cuentas ni inicio de sesión en el sitio público.

¿Cómo me salgo?

Elige Rechazar en el aviso y la analítica se queda solo en memoria. Si ya aceptaste, borra cookies y datos del sitio para madebywacho.com en tu navegador; eso elimina el identificador guardado y el aviso vuelve a preguntar. Bloquear el script también sirve, y el sitio funciona igual sin él.

¿Quién más recibe mis datos?

PostHog guarda los eventos, en servidores de Estados Unidos. Cloudflare aloja el sitio. Google Fonts sirve las dos tipografías. Tally corre el formulario de la guía y el de la auditoría gratuita del sitio web, y guarda lo que escribas: el correo, y en la auditoría tu nombre y la dirección de tu sitio; esos dos formularios son los únicos lugares donde este sitio pide un dato personal. El pago de la auditoría SEO ocurre en una página del proveedor de pagos (Gumroad o PayPal): los datos de tu tarjeta van a ellos, nunca a este sitio. WhatsApp y cal.com reciben lo que les envíes, solo si haces clic y empiezas la conversación. Nada se vende y no hay red publicitaria.

¿Cómo pregunto por mis datos?
